Job summary

Vistra Energy is seeking a Sr. Manager of Programs to ensure nuclear licensing programs are compliant and ready throughout a major Extended Power Uprate project. Responsibilities include managing program alignment across crucial areas such as Fire Protection and Environmental Qualification, overseeing a team of professionals, and interfacing with various engineering departments.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, along with over 10 years in the nuclear industry, including leadership experience. A strong focus on regulatory compliance and risk management is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the nuclear industry.
• 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing nuclear programs.
• Deep knowledge of Fire Protection (FPP) and Environmental Qualification (EQ).

Responsibilities

• Manage program alignment across Fire Protection, EQ, and design integration.
• Oversee two SROs for design integration and operability review.
• Identify program-related risks and elevate issues to protect compliance.
