Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Oak Harbor, Ohio is seeking a seasoned engineer to plan and perform complex technical duties with minimal supervision. You may direct or assist Engineers, Nuclear Technologists or Technicians on projects, ensuring nuclear safety and quality throughout all activities.

The role requires a BS in Nuclear Engineering Technology or equivalent with extensive related experience and a track record in design changes, complex reports, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• BS in Nuclear Engineering Technology or related field.
• 9+ years of related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• 11+ years with an Associate degree or equivalent in engineering.
• Equivalent certification with substantial related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced technical or engineering evaluations.
• Perform root cause analyses.
• Independently assess and resolve potential conditions adverse to quality.
• Prepare complex design changes not requiring Professional Engineers Registration.
• Prepare engineering and technical reports.
• Develop and conduct training.
• Perform tasks in accordance with nuclear safety and personnel safety.
• Serve as a lead role on projects, phases, teams, or programs.
