Job summary

Aecon Concessions is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to support projects at the Vistra Comanche Peak nuclear station in Texas. The role requires a B.S. degree in engineering, 8 years of experience in power plants, and familiarity with nuclear standards. Responsibilities include preparing engineering change packages and evaluating instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to work independently. Qualifications

• 8 years of overall experience in design, operations, or field service/support for power plants or heavy industrial facilities.
• 5 years of experience in design of operating nuclear power plants in the U.S.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design and analysis; must work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Engineering Change Packages including wiring diagrams, schematics, and logic diagrams.
• Evaluate and specify pressure, temperature, flow, and level process instrumentation.
• Perform engineering calculations for a nuclear plant such as instrument set-points.
