Job summary

Aecon U.S. is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer in Glen Rose, TX, with nuclear engineering experience to support modifications at the Vistra Comanche Peak nuclear station. The role involves preparing engineering change packages, specifications, and supporting project execution. Candidates should have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and nuclear qualifications. A hybrid and remote work arrangement is available, and candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Qualifications

• 8 years’ overall experience in design, operations or field service/support for power plants or heavy industrial facilities.
• 5 years of experience relating to design of operating nuclear power plants in the U.S.
• Current or recent qualifications to independently prepare nuclear modification packages at a commercial nuclear plant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Engineering Change Packages including wiring diagrams, single line, and three-line drawings.
• Prepare specifications for major electrical and control equipment.
• Interface with equipment vendors and provide oversight on project submittals.
