Job summary

Aecon Concessions is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with nuclear engineering experience to support the Vistra Comanche Peak nuclear station in Glen Rose, TX. The successful candidate will handle engineering change packages, specifications, and vendor coordination, working in a hybrid/remote setup if desired. Required qualifications include a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, a minimum of 8 years in power plants, and familiarity with nuclear regulations. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• 8 years’ overall experience in design, operations or field service/support for power plants or heavy industrial facilities.
• 5 years of experience relating to the design of operating nuclear power plants in the U.S.
• NANTeL Certified in the Nuclear Standard Design Process (IP-ENG-01).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license in the US (preferred).
• Field experience at an operating nuclear plant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Engineering Change Packages including wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Prepare specifications for major electrical and control equipment.
• Perform Digital Upgrade evaluations.
• Interface with equipment vendors and review project submittals.
