Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Glen Rose, Texas, seeks an I&C Tech to provide instrumentation and control support for the safe, cost-effective, and reliable operation of the Comanche Peak Nuclear Station.

Level to be determined by applicable skills/experience; responsibilities include preventive/corrective maintenance, safety emphasis, and adherence to regulations while handling various plant processes. Occasional long hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
• Good technical writing skills.
• Minimum 2-5 years commercial nuclear experience (I&C Tech).
• Has confidence making the right decisions and tackling larger problems.
• Strives to improve maintenance and modification processes.
• Knowledge of relevant plant processes.
• Occasional long, irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to support plant operation.
• Maintain an environment conducive to nuclear and personnel safety.
• Ensure adherence to regulation, policies, and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
