Job summary

Aecon Concessions is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with nuclear engineering experience to support operations at the Vistra Comanche Peak nuclear station in Glen Rose, TX. This role involves designing and conducting engineering modifications while working in a dynamic team environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in nuclear power design and must be able to obtain access to nuclear facilities. Qualifications

• 8 years’ overall experience in design, operations or field service/support for power plants or heavy industrial facilities.
• 5 years of experience relating to design of operating nuclear power plants in the U.S.
• Current or recent qualifications to prepare nuclear modification packages at a commercial nuclear plant.
• Strong knowledge of nuclear regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Engineering Change Packages for modifications.
• Perform loading and electrical protection calculations.
• Interface with equipment vendors on project submittals.
• Support multiple projects and coordinate activities with teams.
