Job summary

Aecon Concessions is looking for an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our team in Glen Rose, TX. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering, along with significant experience in nuclear power design and operations.

This role involves preparing engineering change packages, evaluating process instrumentation, and supporting various projects within the nuclear sector. The position offers opportunities to interface with clients and lead teams. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• 8 years’ overall experience in design, operations or field service/support for power plants.
• 5 years of experience relating to design of operating nuclear power plants in the U.S.
• Current or recent qualifications to independently prepare nuclear modification packages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Engineering Change Packages including wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Evaluate and specify pressure, temperature, flow, and level process instrumentation.
• Support multiple projects and coordinate activities with clients and contractors.
