Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior-level engineer for nuclear power plant systems design, including preparation and review of modification packages, drawings, analyses, and specifications. The role involves leading project teams and interfacing with clients, with a hybrid work schedule requiring in-office presence three days per week.

Qualified candidates will have ABET-accredited engineering degrees and 10+ years in the nuclear industry, with PE a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the nuclear power industry.
• Ability to lead engineering project teams and interface with clients.

Responsibilities

• Modify packages for operating nuclear power plants.
• Prepare or review functional mechanical drawings and plumbing drawings for nuclear power plant systems.
• Perform engineering analyses and evaluations to support modifications and operation of plant systems.
• Prepare technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment.
• Conduct vendor bid evaluations for plant equipment.
• Study and evaluate modification options for operating nuclear power plants.
• Develop engineering cost estimates for client-requested work scopes.
• Visit client offices and/or plant sites to interface with clients and present engineering status.
• Lead engineering project teams.
