Job summary

TerraPower is seeking a senior business and product development professional who is knowledgeable of nuclear, energy and related businesses. This position resides in Business Development and Strategy and will interact with colleagues in other departments to develop and implement market entry plans and strategies in particular focusing in the utility sector.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of US and international experience and have relevant product development experience.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in engineering or related field is required.
10+ years managing nuclear/energy business development and capture efforts.
3+ years building and retaining market development teams.

Responsibilities

Support scoping, direction and growth of TerraPower’s business development activities.
Identify and track opportunities; select pursued opportunities per Market Development Plan.
Translate market intelligence into input for product, pricing and go-to-market strategy.
Support Natrium product development by coordinating with Engineering and others.
Manage RFP processes, analyses, teaming, messaging and win themes.
Oversee pre-proposal and proposal efforts in the US and third markets.
Build TerraPower’s customer and supplier network aligned with strategic objectives.
Promote and coordinate the Natrium Users Advisory Committee (NUAC).
Develop and retain market development teams; comply with export control practices.
