TerraPower seeks a Subcontract Technical Representative to oversee technical interfaces with subcontractors, manage change, and drive continuous improvements on high-value projects in the nuclear sector.

The role requires extensive experience in customer-to-subcontractor management, DOE/National Lab familiarity, and strong problem-solving and leadership skills. Occasional travel and collaboration across Procurement, Legal, Finance and Engineering are expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with focus relevant to nuclear/plant equipment.
• Construction management experience or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years in technically-oriented management of customer-to-subcontractor interfaces.
• Experience on manufacturing, industrial, government, infrastructure projects; knowledge of contracts and delivery methods.
• Direct nuclear industry contracting experience; international project exposure preferred.
• Experience with DOE and National Labs operations.
• Proficient in process mapping, root-cause analysis and value-stream mapping.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the technical interface between TerraPower and subcontractors.
• Draft statements of work and project plans for subcontractor scope.
• Communicate subcontractor technical requirements and oversee deliverables.
• Provide technical direction and oversee subcontractor work across teams.
• Coordinate subcontractor deliverables and ensure timely responses.
• Support contract administration and commercial activities as needed.
• Monitor subcontractor performance using established metrics and improvement plans.
