Job summary

SMS Data Products Group, Inc. seeks an NSC Sr. Network Technician for its CCSD network at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX. You will deliver telecom and network support across voice, data, video, and transmission services, ensuring secure operations for authorized users.

You will perform installation, troubleshooting, and sustainment while adhering to DIA/DoD practices. The role requires DoD TS/SCI or Top Secret with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of direct experience in network administration and support.
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office; experience with Active Directory.
• Experience supporting classified networks (JWICS, NIPRNet, SIPRNet, NSANet).
• US citizen; ability to work independently or in a team; strong work ethic.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• IAT-II: Security+ CE or CCSP.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance or Top Secret with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Voice systems support for VoIP, encryption devices, and related interfaces.
• Data systems support for IP equipment, network management, switches, ISDN, cryptographic gear.
• Maintain secure and non-secure transmission systems including fiber and copper media.
• Install and sustain VTC/Suite, conference rooms, and public address systems.
• Provide telecommunications construction support per DIA/DoD standards.
• Resolve IT problems and document in ticketing systems; escalate as needed.
• Support network management and end-user device troubleshooting.
