Job summary

WHOOP, headquartered in Boston, MA, seeks a Senior NPI Quality Engineer (Hardware) to lead product quality across multiple hardware development programs from concept through launch. You will partner with Hardware Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality, Reliability, and Operations to ensure products are designed and launched with exceptional quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Product Quality, NPI Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or related roles.
• Experience leading quality for complex hardware products through development, validation, manufacturing readiness, and launch.
• Strong knowledge of quality methodologies and statistical techniques.
• Experience with global suppliers and contract manufacturers in high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Own Product Quality for multiple hardware development programs with robust planning and launch readiness.
• Transform VOB requirements into quantifiable specs via documentation.
• Identify risks early in development and drive timely resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Lead DFMEA, CTQ definitions, reliability planning, and verification strategies.
• Drive quality excellence across supplier network and contract manufacturers.
• Use data-driven methods to investigate risks, implement CAPA, and improve quality.
• Present quality status and risks in program reviews to leadership.
• Contribute to evolving WHOOP's quality systems and mentor peers.
