WHOOP is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to drive New Product Introduction from prototype to production ramp in Boston, MA. You will collaborate across Mechanical, Electrical, and Supply Chain teams to develop, validate, and scale manufacturing processes.

You will apply Lean Six Sigma, DFx, and fixture design to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness, with up to 25% travel as needed and relocation to the Boston office if required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering in moderate- to high-volume environments.
• Hands-on experience developing and troubleshooting manufacturing processes on the factory floor.
• Experience with manufacturing for small electronic products (adhesives, heat staking, automated or manual assembly).
• Knowledge of injection-molded plastic part principles, defect modes, process qualification, and GD&T.

Responsabilités

• Drive readiness for new product introductions through process development, validation, and fixture qualification.
• Partner with factory teams and engineering to design and qualify fixtures, equipment, and processes with data-driven automation.
• Develop and validate manufacturing processes with controls for consistent quality and efficiency.
• Apply DFX and Lean Six Sigma to improve manufacturability, quality, and cost.
• Lead structured problem solving (DOE, FMEA, DMAIC, 8D) to root out root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate risks, progress, and status across internal and external partners during rapid development and ramp cycles.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
