Job summary

WHOOP is seeking a Vice President of Hardware Quality to drive quality across the hardware lifecycle. You will build a world-class global quality organization, partner with engineering and product teams, and establish metrics and reporting across the supply chain to enable exceptional products.

The role requires 10+ years in hardware quality leadership, deep electronics manufacturing knowledge, and up to 25% international travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading hardware quality teams in consumer electronics.
• Experience scaling quality orgs in fast-growing environments.
• Deep understanding of electronics manufacturing: PCBs/SMT, batteries, plastics.
• Experience with global manufacturing and supplier partners.
• Expertise in SPC, auditing, CAPA, RCA, FMEA, Lean, Six Sigma.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical engineering discipline.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% internationally.
• Based in Boston; relocation to Boston office may be required.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive quality strategy across hardware lifecycle.
• Build and lead a global quality organization.
• Partner with Hardware Engineering and Product Development for quality planning and risk mitigation.
• Establish quality metrics, reporting frameworks, and visibility across the supply chain.
• Drive closed-loop quality improvements from field performance to design insights.
• Lead supplier quality programs, audits, CAPA, and strategic supplier development.
