Job summary

Halo Industries is seeking a Sr. NPI Project Manager to coordinate the transfer of equipment builds from R&D to the NPI team and ensure successful deployment into production.

You will manage schedules, risks, and cross‑functional collaboration, while guiding technical writing and PLM phase gates. The role requires hands‑on involvement with the NPI team and 4+ years in semiconductor NPI projects.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or related discipline.
• A minimum of 4 years of NPI project management experience for complex engineering systems, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience transitioning products from prototype to production/manufacturing scale.
• Experience leading teams comprising 5 to 10 NPI engineers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transfer of equipment build responsibilities to the NPI team and ensure timely deployment into production.
• Manage detailed schedules, risk registers, and status reports for equipment builds.
• Define deliverables for NPI engineers, track tasks, and monitor progress.
• Oversee knowledge transfer and cross-functional collaboration between R&D and NPI teams.
• Direct the NPI technical writing team for transfer documentation and PLM readiness.
• Drive product design and production release readiness across PLM gates.
• Assist in determining product or system requirements and IC/board specs.
• Promote continuous improvement in NPI processes, equipment, and tooling.
