Job summary

Halo Industries, Inc. seeks a Sr. NPI Technician to transition products from development to pilot manufacturing.

You will build and test complex electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical systems, troubleshoot issues, and help scale from prototype to pilot manufacturing. Collaboration with design, manufacturing, and quality teams is essential to ensure manufacturability and robust processes. You will document results, develop SOPs, train new staff, and support Arena PLM/QMS workflows, CAD/ERP/MRP

Qualifications

5+ years assembly and test experience in capital equipment, preferably WFE.
Excellent at learning across mechanical, electrical, optical, and software domains.
Experience with high-precision laser and optomechanical assemblies.
Strong reading of electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Able to write and follow SOPs and work instructions.

Responsibilities

Prototype builds: assemble electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical sub-assemblies.
Module, integration, and system testing; troubleshoot issues.
Document results, generate reports, and suggest improvements.
Maintain safe, organized shop floor; ensure 5S compliance.
Read schematics, develop SOPs, and support prototyping.
Train new team members and support PLM-driven workflows.
