Job summary

Halo Industries is seeking a Sr. NPI Technician (opto-electromechanical) to bridge development and pilot manufacturing. You will assemble complex electromechanical subsystems, test across electrical, optical, and mechanical domains, and document results to enable scalable production.

The role requires hands-on work with hardware and software teams to ensure manufacturability, quality, and efficient product introduction. Strong collaboration and problem-solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

• AS in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.
• BS in Engineering or related field is a plus.
• Experience with high-precision laser and optomechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Prototype builds and pilot manufacturing of complex electromechanical systems.
• Test electrical, mechanical and optical subsystems; troubleshoot issues.
• Integrate tests on the assembled system; analyze results and resolve problems.
• Develop and follow SOPs and work instructions.
• Train and mentor new team members; support PLM-enabled workflows.
• Maintain safe, organized 5S compliant manufacturing floor and accurate documentation.
