This senior leadership role owns the end-to-end product introduction lifecycle for multiple product families, bridging the gap between development handoff and high-volume semiconductor manufacturing. Operating as both a strategic and execution leader, this position is responsible for building, scaling, and managing a high-performing team of NPI engineers and managers in Santa Clara, CA.Collaborating closely with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain partners, this role drives the NPI execution strategy, establishes phase-gate processes, and mitigates risks related to yield, manufacturability, and quality. The ideal leader will foster a culture of execution excellence, driving continuous improvement across yield learning, cycle times, and manufacturing scalability.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the NPI strategy across multiple concurrent product families, ensuring on-time, on-cost, and high-quality product launches.
• Lead full NPI lifecycle including development handoff, pilot builds, qualification, ramp, and high-volume manufacturing.
• Establish and continuously improve NPI processes, readiness criteria, and phase-gate reviews.
• Act as the senior NPI interface to Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Test, Reliability, and Operations.
• Hire, develop, and manage a high-performing team of NPI engineers and managers, setting clear goals and performance expectations.
• Partner with Product Management and Program Management on product roadmap execution, cost targets, ramp plans, and manufacturing KPIs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in NPI, manufacturing, or operations engineering in semiconductor or complex hardware environments.
• 5+ years of people management experience, including hiring and managing senior engineers and engineering managers.
• Proven track record of successfully launching multiple products into volume production.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, yield learning, test, reliability, and qualification.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Santa Clara, CA (non-negotiable).
• C2 English level or higher.
• Hands-on experience with Semiconductor Manufacturing, DFM, DFT, DFA, Product Launch.
