Job summary

BD is seeking a Senior Engineer for the UCC High Volume Consumables R&D team to join early-stage design within the New Product Development process. You will gain hands-on experience in Biodesign, requirements management, and design validation, collaborating with BD’s Subject Matter Experts to shape the next generation of medical technologies.

On-site role with strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration, design control, and DFSS methodologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a design / development engineer.
• BS in Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering or STEM field.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and influencing skills.
• Proficient in design control process, development, and commercialization in regulated industry.
• Application of engineering design process and statistical techniques in product development, such as Design for Six Sigma.

• Navigate projects through established design control processes, including phase gates, design reviews, and technical assessments.
