Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Technician to support the DGOC at Scott Air Force Base, IL. The role emphasizes 24/7 incident monitoring, fault analysis, and service restoration across DISN environments.

Responsibilities include creating ServiceNow tickets, troubleshooting network events, coordinating with providers, and ensuring SLAs are met while maintaining DoD clearance requirements. This role requires IAT Level 2 and ability to work nights.

Qualifications

• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification required at start date.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operation.
• Experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance or performance management.
• Expertise in routers, switches, crypto devices, DSN/DRSN, Video Services, CISCO/Juniper/DWDM may be required.

Responsibilities

• Create and update tickets in ServiceNow.
• Monitor network events 24/7 across multiple tools.
• Analyze alarms and correlate faults for root cause.
• Coordinate fault correction with service providers.
• Restore networks and services to full operation and meet SLAs.
• Provide 24/7 sustainment support for outages and degradations.
