ManpowerGroup, via Manpower Engineering, seeks a Senior Engineering Technician specialized in Nitinol for our White Bear Lake, MN site, with occasional travel to Fridley, MN. Direct hire, on‑site role focused on development, characterization, and transition of Nitinol-based technologies into production.

Responsibilities include advanced technical support, SME for equipment and processes, and documentation for scalable manufacturing.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; 2-year technical degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing or process development environment.
• Experience working with Nitinol and Stainless‑Steel post processing, strongly preferred (e.g. chemical processing, heat setting, micro‑blasting, or electropolishing).
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably medical device or OEM manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP, SPC, and manufacturing documentation systems.
• Demonstrated experience supporting complex projects through commercialization.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple technical priorities.
• Demonstrated commitment to supporting positive customer and stakeholder experiences.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advanced, hands‑on technical support for engineering and process development projects.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert for equipment, tooling, and manufacturing process setup, including preparation for long‑term and scalable manufacturing.
• Apply structured problem‑solving and critical thinking to define process strategies, resolve complex technical challenges, and make data‑driven decisions.
• Develop, draft, and maintain manufacturing and process documentation, including work instructions, setup sheets, certification checklists, visual aids, and related materials.
• Establish and document process windows, process controls, and key operating parameters.
• Support the transition of new products and technologies from development into production, including training and coaching manufacturing personnel.
• Provide ongoing engineering and manufacturing support to optimize processes, tooling, and production performance through controlled and documented process changes.
• Utilize ERP, SPC, and related systems to support engineering activities, manufacturing coordination, scheduling, and shipment responsibilities.
• Provide technical support to Sales, Customers, and cross‑functional teams as requested.
• Train and mentor technicians and other team members based on demonstrated expertise and experience.
• Maintain compliance with established quality systems, process change procedures, and documentation standards.
