Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced Senior Operations Supervisor to lead hourly staff and drivers, manage scheduling, and ensure daily tasks align with service and cost objectives. You will supervise dispatch, loading/unloading, and customer service, review orders and performance, and participate in hiring decisions.

The role is Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm with bonus eligibility based on individual and location performance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of related functional experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills expected.
• Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Communicate performance standards and interview hourly associates.
• Supervise logistics operations including dispatch, loading/unloading, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Review daily orders and manage private fleet opportunities.
• Monitor attendance and productivity; counsel or recognize associates as needed.
