A leading technology company is seeking a Head of NG911 Call-Handling Software Architecture to lead the architectural strategy and design for the NG911 platform. This role involves ensuring the platform meets performance standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software architecture and leadership, particularly within public safety or telecom sectors. Strong skills in NG911 standards, distributed systems, and secure cloud deployments are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture or engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience with large‑scale, real‑time, mission‑critical systems.
• Strong understanding of NG911 standards, SIP/RTP protocols, CAD systems, and GIS.
• Expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and secure cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the architectural blueprint and align with NENA i3 standards.
• Lead long‑term technical planning and establish architectural roadmaps.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure design implementation.
• Establish and enforce best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
