Job summary

Atos Group is seeking a Head of NG911 Call-Handling Software Architecture to lead the end-to-end architectural strategy for the NG911 platform. You will drive scalable, secure, real-time dispatch capabilities and collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and government partners.

Experience in NG911 standards, distributed systems, and cloud deployments is essential. The role requires strategic planning, risk mitigation, and cross-functional leadership in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, software engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in software architecture/engineering with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Proven experience with large-scale, real-time, mission-critical systems.
• Strong knowledge of NG911 standards (NENA i3), SIP/RTP, CAD, and GIS.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain architectural blueprint for NG911 platform aligned with NG911/NENA i3.
• Lead design decisions for scalability, fault tolerance, real-time communications, GIS routing, and cybersecurity.
• Drive architecture roadmaps and collaborate with product/program leadership.
• Coordinate with public safety agencies and government partners for NG911 compliance.
• Conduct design reviews and technical audits to ensure architectural integrity.
