Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum twelve (12) years' experience supporting enterprise voice systems, telecommunications engineering, VoIP, SIP, ESINet, NG-911, or similar public safety environments.
• Experience or knowledge with Cisco Collaboration, Ribbon, Oracle SBC, SIP, VoIP, ESINet implementation, and/or NENA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for NG-911 voice infrastructure modernization, including GIS/LIS data integration for accurate 911 call routing and handling.
• Support system implementation, integration, and testing of voice infrastructure to ensure interoperability with CAD, CHE, and LMR systems.
• Provide subject matter expertise on VoIP, SIP, Session Border Controllers, and enterprise voice architecture for public safety systems, including troubleshooting call routing and quality issues that have real operational consequences.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity personnel to ensure voice systems comply with Army and DoW cybersecurity regulations.
