Job summary

Poppy Bank in California is seeking an experienced Senior New Accounts/CSR III to expertly open consumer and complex business accounts, process new account transactions, and cross-sell banking products and services. You will maintain and close accounts, perform branch clerical duties, and ensure compliance with bank regulations.

The role emphasizes customer relations, adherence to BSA and information security rules, and collaboration with staff to deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years banking teller experience (Senior CSR III).
• Advanced experience with opening consumer accounts and complex business accounts.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong customer relations skills and ability to communicate with staff and customers.
• Knowledge of basic banking regulations such as BSA and Information Security.
• Excellent judgment and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Interviews and profiles customers to recommend banking products and services.
• Cross-sell bank products and services to new and existing customers.
• Open and support consumer and business checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and Trust & Estate Accounts.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of bank products and services and ensure documentation is approved and uploaded.
• Provide expedient, courteous service to all clients, both in person and on the phone.
