Job summary

Poppy Bank is hiring for Senior New Accounts/CSR III and related CSR roles in California. The position requires expertise in opening consumer and complex business accounts, cross-selling, and maintaining customer relationships in a fast-paced office environment. Compliance with bank policies and state/federal regulations is essential.

Roles vary by level (II–III) with supervisory duties at higher levels and a strong emphasis on accurate documentation and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years banking teller experience is required.
• Strong customer relations skills and ability to communicate with customers and staff.
• Experience with cross-selling bank products and services.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Interview and profile customers to recommend banking products and services.
• Cross-sell bank products to new and existing customers.
• Open and support consumer and business accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, etc.).
• Process teller transactions and maintain balancing records.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and documentation requirements.
