Job summary

Presidio is seeking a Network-focused Solutions Architect in San Ramon, CA to drive network and security solutions for customers. You will gather requirements, design end-to-end solutions, and present complex architectures including hardware, software, licensing, and services.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in enterprise network/security, 2+ years in presales, and deep expertise in routing, switching, next-gen firewalls, SD-WAN, and data center networking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise class network and security solutions.
• 2+ years of presales experience.
• Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation and support of one or more: complex routing and switching (Cisco, Arista, HP); next gen firewalls/VPNs (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet); AI Operations; AI networking; data center switching/segmentation (Cisco ACI, VMware NSX); SASE, SD-WAN and cloud networking.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level technical solutions and present to customers (Hardware, Software, Licensing, Professional Services).
• Collect business and technical requirements.
• Complete end-to-end, full lifecycle network designs.
• Drive whiteboard conversations.
• Craft customer facing presentations.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Generate hardware configurations (BoM).
• Write statements of work (SoW) and develop Professional Service pricing.
• Work with Account Executive/Extended Sales Teams to develop customer relationships and solutions.
• Maintain and develop technical and technology-specific skill sets and certifications.
