Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Network Technician 3 to support the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) team. You will design, install, operate, and maintain enterprise, campus, and Base Area Network infrastructure for the US Air Force Education and Training Center (AETC).

Role requires 24/7 on-call support, DoD SECRET clearance, and up to 100% travel. Strong communication, teamwork, and safety discipline are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Must have DoD SECRET Clearance.
• Travel 100% may be required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage time and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Install system raceway, cabling, equipment racks, and mounting hardware per NEC standards.
• Terminate, test, and configure network and IT equipment including switches/routers/WAPs.
• Maintain as-built documentation and track project changes.
• Support 24/7 on-call operations and safety meetings (ORM).
• Survey and document existing telecom infrastructure (copper, fiber).
• Coordinate with MC Dean Operations Teams and stakeholders.
