Job summary

M.C. Dean, Building Intelligence®, seeks a Network Engineer 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will design, implement, operate, and maintain security-focused network services and infrastructure for federal, local, and commercial customers, including support for the US Air Force Education and Training Center. Responsibilities include survey work, design development, system integration testing, and proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 7+ years progressive experience in network engineering or related.
• Understanding of ITIL concepts and network security implications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present technical information clearly.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Survey reports measured results and provide actionable data to senior staff.
• Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.
• Develop network designs for SLA classifications and assist in design documents.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex network issues, provide operational improvements.
• Maintain systems, perform software/hardware upgrades, and support 24/7 on-call schedule.
• Prepare cost estimates and support documentation for projects.
