Job summary

M.C. Dean seeks a Network Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit in support of USAF AETC. You will design, engineer, install, operate and maintain enterprise, campus, and Base Area Network infrastructure including switches, routers, encryptors, wireless, cabling, and racks.

The role requires 4+ years of electronics installation/maintenance, strong teamwork, and the ability to work in a 24/7 on-call environment. DoD Secret clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years electronics installation/maintenance on multiple systems.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Time management and organization to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute field operations for Base Area Networks at multiple locations.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems on site.
• Configure network hardware and software; verify proper operation.
• Maintain safety compliance per USAF requirements and company policies.
• Develop and maintain as-built documentation; manage moves/adds/changes.
• Track tools, perform daily tool inventory, and support ORM safety meetings.
• Install cabling, grounding, and network equipment; ensure proper termination.
• Support on-call duties and coordinate with MC Dean Operations Teams.
