Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Network Technician 2 to support the Security and Electronic Systems unit.

You will design, install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across multiple sites including base environments, ensuring safety and compliance with USAF standards. The role requires 4+ years in electronics installation or maintenance, strong teamwork, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from Electronics Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship program preferred.
• Experience in electronics installation and maintenance across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical tasks within field operations of Base Area Networks at multiple locations.
• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Ensure functionality and reliability of technologies and document as‑built changes.
• Configure network hardware/software, test systems, and provide customer technical support.
• Adhere to USAF safety requirements and M.C. Dean policies during work.
• Install and terminate low voltage cabling and network equipment, including grounding per NEC.
• Maintain timesheets, track tools, and participate in ORM safety meetings.
