Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an experienced senior leader to drive network security strategy and Zero Trust deployment across our enterprise. You will oversee teams responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network architectures including cloud and hybrid environments.

Ideal candidates bring a decade of related work experience, a related undergraduate degree (Graduate degree preferred), and deep expertise in Zscaler platforms (ZIA/ZPA), firewall integration, and security governance

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of network and cloud security architecture principles, segmentation strategies, and Zero Trust design models.
• Management experience with Zscaler platforms, including ZIA and ZPA, and their role in secure internet access, private application access, and Zero Trust network transformations.
• Strong understanding of integrating firewall and Zscaler architectures with identity providers, routing, load balancing, application delivery, and hybrid cloud connectivity models.

Responsibilities

• Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew; provides guidance and training to develop team.
• Oversees the network team responsible for design, installation, configuration, and integration of new technologies.
• Manages resolution of complex issues escalated from Support Center and Technical Services.
• Oversees policies, system monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting; maintains security documentation.
