Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an experienced Network Security Director to oversee the network team and ensure security architectures meet current and future requirements. You will design, implement, and govern secure network solutions, including Zero Trust models and cloud-integrated technologies.

You will lead vendor relationships, manage complex incident response, and drive improvements across on-prem and cloud environments within a hybrid work arrangement centered in the United States.

Qualifications

• Ten years of related work experience with network security emphasis.
• Undergraduate degree in a related field; graduate degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of network and cloud security architecture and Zero Trust design.
• Experience managing Zscaler platforms including ZIA and ZPA.
• Ability to integrate firewall and Zscaler architectures with identity providers and hybrid cloud connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee network team, provide guidance, and set performance standards.
• Design, install, configure, and integrate new network technologies.
• Resolve complex issues escalated from Support Center and Technical Services.
• Maintain policies, system monitoring, automation, and telecom documentation.
• Manage vendor products and relationships; ensure security standards and compliance.
