Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Staff Network Engineer to lead the design, operation, and optimization of our Zero Trust and secure-access platforms, with a focus on ZIA/ZPA and a multi-cloud network stack supporting a global workforce. You will own health, performance, and roadmaps while guiding automation and observability across the environment.

You will bring 10+ years of enterprise networking, strong Zscaler expertise, Palo Alto experience, and a passion for scalable, secure connectivity.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of enterprise network infrastructure experience.
• 3+ years hands-on Zscaler ZIA/ZPA design and deployment at scale.
• Strong depth in Zero Trust / SASE architecture including ZTNA and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the Zscaler platform end-to-end, including policy frameworks and topology.
• Troubleshoot secure-access incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Manage Palo Alto firewalls, GlobalProtect VPN, and migrations toward Zscaler solutions.
• Support Aruba and Cisco networking gear across global sites.
• Design, install, and configure network devices and ISP circuits at new offices.
• Build automation and observability through log analytics and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot network constructs across AWS, Azure, and GCP; participate in on-call rotations; travel internationally as needed.
