Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer (VPN) to design, deploy, and secure enterprise remote access VPN solutions with a focus on Tailscale and WireGuard. You will own the full lifecycle of remote access infrastructure and provide cross-platform client support.

The role requires deep networking and Linux experience, strong security fundamentals, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in Redmond, WA. Onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or 8+ years of network security experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years securing networks, IT infrastructure, applications, endpoints, and/or APIs.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, deploy, and secure enterprise remote access VPN solutions end-to-end with Tailscale and WireGuard.
• Own the full lifecycle of remote access infrastructure from design to ongoing management and policy definition.
• Configure, deploy, and support VPN clients across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.
