SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Network Security Engineer to design, deploy, and secure enterprise remote access VPN infrastructure, with heavy emphasis on Tailscale and WireGuard.

The role spans lifecycle management, policy definition, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Candidate should have a strong Linux background, Python automation experience, and exposure to zero-trust architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of network security experience, or 8+ years in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of experience securing networks, IT infrastructure, applications, endpoints, and/or APIs.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME on network security, firewalls, zero-trust architectures, and best practices.
• Architect, deploy, and secure enterprise remote access VPN solutions end-to-end (Tailscale, WireGuard, IPsec, SSL).
• Own full lifecycle of remote access infrastructure from design to maintenance.
• Configure, deploy, and support VPN clients across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android.
