Community Bank, N.A., the retail division of Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI), is seeking a Senior Network Security Administrator to join its Technology Services team at the East Syracuse Data Center with a hybrid schedule.

The role requires 7+ years in enterprise network security, expertise in Azure/AWS cloud networking, next-gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet FortiGate, Meraki), and a track record of security incident response and compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise Network/Network Security Administrator experience.
• Advanced network and network security technologies incl. ZTNA, full UTM NGFW, cloud networking (Azure, AWS).
• Experience with CISCO ISE, CISCO ACI, CISCO UCS, Palo Alto firewall, CISCO NEXUS Switching, Nutanix AHV/Flow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and test new technologies to enhance security capabilities.
• Design, implement, and maintain network solutions including cloud networking.
• Configure and manage next-gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortigate, Meraki).
• Implement security measures to protect networks from cyber threats and ensure compliance.
• Assist in vulnerability assessment, remediation, and audit support.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
