Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support the enterprise network across data centers, campuses, cloud, WAN, and remote access. You will partner with Security, Cloud, and IT teams to deliver secure, scalable networking solutions and improve reliability.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, Cisco expertise, and a strong background in BGP/OSPF, Palo Alto firewalls, and cloud networking with AWS/Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of network engineering, operations, architecture, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, support, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across data center, campus, cloud, WAN, and remote-access environments.
• Serve as a senior technical contributor for network initiatives, upgrades, migrations, and modernization efforts.
• Develop and maintain network design documentation, engineering standards, and operational procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents and performance issues.
• Collaborate with teams to improve reliability, monitoring, and automation.
• Support cloud networking architectures across Azure, AWS, and hybrid deployments.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
