Job summary

Crypto.com in Chicago seeks a senior Network Security & Infrastructure engineer to act as the primary Level 3 escalation point for complex network issues across on-prem data centers and AWS. You will manage FortiGate and Cisco ASA firewalls, Akamai WAF, along with Arista switches, Cisco routers, and F5 LTM/GTM, while driving hybrid-cloud networking and IaC-based automation with DevOps teams.

Responsibilities include documenting architecture, incident response, and providing after-hours support

Qualifications

• Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as Escalation Point of Contact for Level 3 issues across on-prem Data Centers and AWS environments.
• Maintain Multi-Vendor Security & Perimeter Solutions including FortiGate, Cisco ASA, and Akamai WAF.
• Manage Core Network & Infrastructure Services across Arista switches, Cisco routers, F5 LTM/GTM, and Infoblox.
• Develop & Maintain Architecture Documentation for network topology and hybrid cloud designs.
• Bridge Infrastructure and DevOps (IaC) to automate network deployments and security workflows.
• Integrate AI & Network Task Automation using tools like Tines, n8n, Dify for security orchestration.
• Provide Support During Non-Office Hours during major cutovers or emergencies.
