Job summary

CACI is seeking a Network Operations - Tier 2 professional to support the ECS3 program in Washington, DC. You will troubleshoot enterprise network issues, coordinate with the Network Operations Center, and perform upgrades for routers and switches to maintain service availability.

You will implement VLANs, ACLs, and port assignments, upgrade IOS on devices, draft SOPs for operations, and assist with network implementation and technical refresh projects across sites.

Qualifications

• IAT II (Security+)
• CCNA
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph or ability to obtain polygraph prior to starting
• 10+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may substitute for 5 years of experience)
• Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper network devices
• Strong working knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, 802.1x)
• In-depth knowledge of KG-175 TACLANES configuration, fault isolation, and firmware upgrade procedures
• Working knowledge of Cisco ISE

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Network Operations Center and staff to address break/fix, configuration updates, add/moves/changes, and upgrades for routers and switches
• Perform IOS upgrades on routers and switches
• Conduct routing and switching upgrades to ensure enterprise operations
• Draft SOPs for network operations
• Resolve network failures and accessibility problems
• Support site surveys and engineering design data calls
• Support new/enhanced network implementation and technical refresh projects
• Work independently with some supervision, including in remote locations
• Perform root cause analyses and complete problem resolutions for incident tickets
• Review and implement STIGs
