Qualifications

• IAT II (Security+) certification required.
• CCNA certification required.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance, or ability to obtain polygraph before starting.
• 10+ years of relevant experience; bachelor’s degree may substitute for 5 years.
• Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper network devices.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, 802.1x).
• Knowledge of KG-175 TACLANES configuration and upgrade procedures.
• Working knowledge of Cisco ISE.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Network Operations Center and staff to address break/fix, configuration updates, moves/adds/changes, and upgrades.
• Perform IOS upgrades on routers and switches; draft SOPs for network operations.
• Resolve network failures and accessibility issues; support site surveys and data calls.
• Implement network changes (VLan, ACL, port assignment) and new/updated network deployments.
• Provide incident analysis and root-cause determination; research network errors and incidents.
• Close network tickets across Network Operations with escalation as needed.
• Review and implement STIGs in the network environment.
