Job summary

CACI is seeking a Tier 2 Network Operations technician to support the ECS3 program, coordinating with the NOC and staff for break/fix, configuration updates, and upgrades across enterprise routers and switches. The role involves drafting SOPs and delivering detailed resolution reports for outages.

Qualified candidates will have IAT II (Security+), CCNA, and TS/SCI with poly (or the ability to obtain), plus 10+ years of relevant experience and Cisco/Juniper expertise.

Qualifications

• IAT II (Security+)
• CCNA
• Active TS/SCI with a polygraph OR the ability to obtain one before starting
• 10+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s degree may substitute for 5 years)
• Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper devices
• Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, 802.1x)
• KG-175 TACLANES configuration and firmware upgrade procedures
• Experience with Cisco-ISE

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Network Operations Center and staff to address break/fix, updates, moves, and changes
• Perform IOS upgrades on routers and switches
• Drive enterprise routing and switching improvements to ensure operations
• Draft SOPs for network operations
• Resolve network issues and accessibility problems across services
• Support site surveys and engineering data calls
• Assist with network implementation and technical refresh projects
• Work independently with supervision; in remote locations act as independent engineer
• Conduct root-cause analyses and incident resolutions
• Assist in network ticket resolution and research errors with administrative access
