Job summary

CACI International Inc seeks a Network Operations Tier 2 technician to manage enterprise support issues, coordinating with the NOC and staff for break/fix, updates, and upgrades to routers/switches. Lead incident analyses and produce technical resolution reports for outages.

Responsibilities include executing network changes, IOS upgrades, and SOP drafting, with remote work independence in some sites. A TS/SCI clearance with poly or ability to obtain poly is required.

Qualifications

• IAT II (Ex: Security+)
• CCNA
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance OR TS/SCI with ability to obtain polygraph prior to starting
• 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree may substitute for 5 years)
• Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper network devices
• Strong working knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, 802.1x)
• In-depth knowledge of KG-175 TACLANES configuration, fault isolation, and firmware upgrade procedures
• Working knowledge of Cisco-ISE

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Network Operations Center and staff to address break/fix, config updates, moves, changes, and upgrades for routers and switches
• Coordinate ticket acceptance and resolutions with the network team
• Develop technical resolution reports for outages
• Implement network changes (VLan, ACL, port assignments)
• Perform IOS upgrades on routers and switches
• Draft SOPs for network operations
• Resolve network failures and accessibility issues
• Support site surveys and engineering data calls
• Support network implementation and technical refresh projects
• Operate independently with some supervision in remote locations
• Conduct root cause analyses and incident resolutions
