Job summary

Crusoe Cloud is seeking a Senior Manager Engineering, Network Operations to own production reliability for a global network spanning edge, backbone, data centers, and GPU clusters. You will build and lead a multi-site team, drive incident response, RCAs, and automation to reduce toil.

You’ll set standards for runbooks, on-call, and postmortems, collaborating with Architecture and Deployment to meet ambitious reliability targets in a 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in network engineering or operations with 4+ years in people leadership.
• Proven ability to build and scale high-performing ops teams.
• Ownership of production reliability across large multi-region networks.
• Fluency with network protocols and data centre fabrics; strong vendor savvy.
• Automation fluency and executive communication for risk and planning.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the network operations org across multiple sites and time zones.
• Own uptime, MTTR, RCAs, and postmortems for global edge/backbone/Data Center/GPU networks.
• Define incident command, escalation, on-call model, and executive communications.
• Drive RCAs, remediation, and cross-team post-incident reviews with Architecture/Deployment.
• Champion automation to reduce toil and accelerate MTTR with observability tools.
• Define and track SLIs/SLOs and report to leadership on reliability.
• Run executive-level cadence and governance with Deployment, Architecture, and SRE.
• Develop leaders and mentor engineers; partner with Deployment/Architecture on handoffs.
