Job summary
Crusoe Cloud seeks a Senior Manager Engineering, Network Operations to own production reliability for our global network infrastructure across edge, backbone, data center fabric, and GPU clusters. You’ll build and lead a multi-site, 24x7 team handling incidents, RCAs, and automation to reduce toil.
You will partner with Architecture and Deployment to maintain high uptime, scale ops, and drive strategic reliability improvements while communicating effectively with senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in network engineering or operations in large-scale 24x7 infra.
- 4+ years managing engineers or managers.
- Proven incident and reliability ownership at scale.
Responsibilities
- Own the operations org's structure and growth; hire and develop senior engineers across sites and time zones.
- Own production reliability across global edge, backbone, data center, and GPU networks.
- Set incident response structure, escalation paths, and on-call model; serve as executive escalation point.
- Ensure rigorous RCAs and track remediation; run cross-team post-incident reviews.
- Drive automation with observability tools to reduce toil and accelerate MTTR.
- Define and report SLIs/SLOs; uphold reliability targets.
