Job summary

Crusoe is hiring a Senior Network Production Operations Engineer to support production reliability across its global edge, backbone, data center, and GPU cluster networks. The role focuses on incident response, RCA, and automation to keep AI workloads running at scale.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in production network engineering, strong Python skills, and hands-on experience with observability tools and multi-vendor data center networks. This is a full-time, on-site role in Bellevue, WA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production network engineering in large-scale or internet-scale env.
• Strong Python and scripting proficiency for diagnostic tooling and automation.
• Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools including Grafana, Prometheus, ThousandEyes.
• Experience operating RDMA/RoCE lossless fabrics for GPU or HPC workloads.
• Solid knowledge of BGP, EVPN-VXLAN, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, and TCP/IP in data centers.
• Proficiency with Arista EOS and Juniper JUNOS in leaf-spine architectures.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Production reliability across Crusoe's global edge, backbone, data center, and GPU cluster network.
• Write and maintain Python-based tooling to reduce toil and automate remediation workflows.
• Participate in high-severity network events — detection, triage, mitigation, and postmortem documentation.
• Perform RCAs and drive remediation items to closure.
• Build automation on Crusoe's observability stack to surface actionable signals.
• Maintain and improve runbooks, escalation playbooks, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Architecture and SRE teams on reliability initiatives.
• Communicate with stakeholders during incidents.
