Job summary

Cordoba Corporation is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst in Los Angeles, CA to lead network and IT operations at the PMO and nine campus project sites. The role covers installation and maintenance of networks, servers, firewalls, VPNs, and disaster recovery systems.

You will troubleshoot, configure, and secure Windows environments, manage Active Directory, PowerShell automation, and support Tier 2/3 helpdesk tasks while coordinating with the Facilities Sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of applicable systems and network administration experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college with a degree in computer science or related field; four years of qualifying experience may substitute for education.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Windows Servers, and internet protocols (DNS, DHCP, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS).
• Experience with VPN appliances and Cisco Meraki appliances.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience to streamline admin tasks.
• Experience with VMware/Hyper-V and cloud architecture.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, Nessus and Splunk.

Responsibilities

• Configures, manages and provides technical networking support for physical and virtual environments.
• Testing and maintenance of operating systems, applications, and network devices.
• Ensure system uptime and effective communication with the team.
• Administers systems and servers to ensure availability of services.
• Responds to inquiries and provides timely technical support to staff and vendors.
• Proactively identify issues and implement corrective actions for network reliability.
• Manage assigned IT projects within objectives and deadlines.
• Maintain security firewalls, VPNs, and network access controls.
• Develop SOPs and document procedures; share knowledge with team.
