Job summary

BuildLACCD PMO IT is seeking a Programmer/Analyst III to oversee network administration and operations for the PMO and nine campus project sites. Responsibilities include configuring networks, servers, routers, firewalls, LAN/WAN, and disaster recovery; providing Level 2–3 helpdesk support; and ensuring uptime across all sites.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and documentation skills, with a focus on security, system reliability and scalable network design.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of applicable systems and network administration experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field; equivalent years of experience may supplement education.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage and monitor network and server infrastructure across PMO and sites.
• Maintain uptime and effective disaster recovery procedures.
• Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, WLAN/WAN and security controls.
• Provide Level 2–3 support and collaborate with IT teams and vendors.
• Develop SOPs, document procedures, and train team members.
